Digital Lifestyles Group appoints Paul Kirchoff as Vice President of product management

Former key Dell leader to head new strategic product initiative, bringing proven industry Product Management and Development Leadership

Austin, Texas – July 6, 2004 – On the heels of announcing its name change and the development of the hip-e brand and product line, Digital Lifestyles Group, Inc. (OTCBB: NGTE), designer, manufacturer and marketer of digital lifestyle products, today announced that Paul Kirchoff has been appointed as the company's Vice President of Product Management.  Mr. Kirchoff, whose past experience includes key product management and business development roles at Dell, will have responsibility for product management, development and supply chain activities as Digital Lifestyles Group continues itsaggressive growth strategy.

While at Dell, Kirchoff developed corporate strategy, offerings and development plans for leading-edge products and services, and was the recipient of Dell’s distinguished Office of the Chairman Award in 1999.  Mr. Kirchoff started Dell’s Internet and Communications line of business and its Inspiron portables line, which grew from zero to over a billion in sales in the first eleven months.  Following Dell, Mr. Kirchoff was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for United Devices, and founder and CEO of Yehti Corporation.

Mr. Kirchoff has a B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona, as well as an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Austin.
